MRS. LAUREN LANGE

 
I joined Plank in 2013, where I began teaching Language Arts and Social Studies while also serving as a Special Education teacher. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Western Illinois University, along with endorsements in English/Language Arts and Social Sciences. In 2017, I completed my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, Portland.
In addition, I am a certified Dyslexia Specialist and Wilson instructor. In 2022, I transitioned into leading the LRC while completing my Library Media Specialist Endorsement, which I finished in 2023. I have a strong passion for reading and am excited to support and inspire your students throughout this school year!
~ Together we are learning and developing our purpose in education.

How many books can be checked out at a time?
Two.

How long can books be checked out for? 
Books are loaned for two weeks at a time and may be renewed if a hold has not been placed on the book. Reference books, audiobooks, and videos are checked out to staff members only. 

What if I lose my ID card?
The LRC staff can take ID pictures and print ID cards at any time. There is a $5.00 charge for replacements (cash only).

If you need help setting up security questions, stop in the LRC and Mrs. Lange will help you out. After setting up security questions, the portal will be self-serve for updating your password.
